Children of the same God

There are child prodigies and there are those who are not. Not every child will excel at everything...some will always lag behind. Those with autism, dyslexia, and learning disabilities face tough times and tough attitudes from people around them...do they deserve it? Let's have a heart for every heart. After all, we are children of the same God - we are all equal and special in our own ways!

Children of the same God,
But some were born to be,
A bit, unlike the rest,
In this humongous sea.
For those who turned out sharper,
Got love and praise in loads,
And those who lingered behind,
Faced the toughest roads.
What if each one was the same O’ Lord,
Would life not be more fair?
If everyone could ace each race,
And climb up every stair?
“But you are no machine Oh’ man”,
Would say the mighty Lord;
“Each one of you is dear to me,
None’s to be abhorred”.
Just like the different flowers,
In all their contrast shine,
So does each soul that He has made,
Aligns with his design.
So treat right each heart you meet,
Let differences be no bar;
For we are children of the same God,
And to Him, each is a star!
