I won't abort

A year passed, with toil and strife,

The unmet aim left you cold and pale,

Though courage led you to confront your life,

The biased gaze fixates on what's missed,

Before you bid adieu, goals dismissed,

Sharpen your saw, jostle your soul,

Another opportunity to settle the score,

Rise from your ashes, give it your whole!

It’s easy to quit, let ambitions fall,

But takes courage to rebuild a fallen fort,

You were not born for easy, nor born to stall,

Lay a fresh brick, proclaim you won’t abort!
